Calls for documentary submissions

1. Documentary Edge Festival – Wellington rocks

After a successful run in Auckland, the Documentary Edge Festival is already underway in two fabulous locations in Wellington: Angelika at Reading Cinemas Courtenay and City Gallery Wellington. Screenings run from around midday and the festival’s information desk at Reading Cinemas is a popular spot to get information and chat about the films.

This is also a reminder that tickets to City Gallery Wellington are available at Real Groovy, Dazzle Tickets, and at the door from one hour before the screening.

The festival will run until Sunday 28th March so don’t miss the last few days to see some of the best documentaries from New Zealand and around the world and support the Documentary Edge Festival.

The closing night film on Sunday at 8.55pm is Art & Copy.

2. Documentary Edge Festival –Thank you Auckland

Documentary Edge Festival ended on Sunday, 14 March with the closing night film, Art & Copy, selling out. The top ten films in Auckland this year were:

Audience numbers increased by 30% over last year and we would like to thank each and every one of you who attended and supported the festival. We also would like to thank all the filmmakers, visitors, volunteers and supporters who helped making Documentary Edge Festival 2010 a success. We will announce details on Documentary Edge Festival 2011 in April.

3. The Quadrant Hotel Auckland offer to continue
